Last time on ThunderCore recap, we recapped notable performances ThunderCore had along with the events we attended in 2023. Part 2 of our ThunderCore Recap will be touching on the partnerships and partnership collaborations, as well as some notable updates for ThunderCore in 2023! Let’s get right into it.

Making Incredible Partnerships

ThunderCore has always valued our amazing partners, and 2023 was a year filled with partnerships! We had new partners announced along with many collaborations, including AMAs, updates, and events. The joining of hands to better this Web3 environment we thrive in is what will continue to bring ThunderCore to the next level. Here are some notable partnerships we saw:

ThunderCore joined forces with MetaFab: This was a move aimed at revolutionizing GameFi development where MetaFab assisted in simplifying blockchain integration in games.

ThunderCore partnered with YGG SEA: This was a strategic move to bridge Southeast Asia’s incredible developer talent with the Web3 space. As blockchain talent in Southeast Asia holds so much potential, this was a major milestone for us.

ThunderCore partnered with Sushi: Sushi is one of our biggest partners and our partnership towards building a sustainable DeFi ecosystem has been one of the greatest driving forces behind both network’s advancement.

ThunderCore partnered with Algebra Protocol: This partnership helped enhance application deployment on ThunderCore, bringing innovative features to the table.

There were many more partners and collaborations this year but to list them all would make this post way too long. With our eyes set on a future of DeFi and Web3 advancement, we hope to continue working with these partners and embrace new ones in 2024!

A Year of Updates

ThunderCore had many key updates this year. These updates have all been for the enhancement of our ecosystem, with a focus on sustainability, security, efficiency, and growth. The updates are what kept ThunderCore as such a prominent force over the years. Let’s look back on some of the core updates we’ve had this year!

ThunderCore 2.0 and PoS Staking Update: The 2.0 upgrade signified our unwavering dedication to growth and development as we aimed to ensure network security and decentralization through staking our native token $TT.

SushiSwap Integration: In June, after announcing our partnership with Sushi, we became the first batch of v3 integration with Sushi. This integration significantly increased the Total Value Locked (TVL) on ThunderCore and has been pivotal for us.

Testnet Reset: We had a testnet reset in August to provide users with a more efficient testing environment. This opened up more opportunities for development and testing where efficiency is notably enhanced.

Erigon Solution Update: In September, we discussed our journey to integrating Erigon within ThunderCore’s ecosystem as a solution to tackle storage improvement. With eyes set for the deployment of Erigon to the mainnet, we are hopeful to see more.

The Ecosystem Update: In November, the ecosystem update helped ThunderCore reinforce the direction we plan to head towards, one where ThunderCore will continue to grow for the long term and for a long time.

Lots of key updates launched in 2023 and more will come in 2024! Watch out for future updates as ThunderCore continues advancing further beyond.

Other Highlights of 2023

There are too many highlights throughout this year to list them all, but here’s another! ThunderCore celebrated our 4th anniversary in February 2023, and it marked ThunderCore as a DeFi figurehead that’s been around and will stay around.

We also had many, many, many ThunderCore Blog articles throughout this year, ranging from ones about DeFi Gaming to educational articles with our ThunderCore Blog! We hope to continue pumping out more quality content here on the ThunderCore Blog and our social media!

Thank You All

To wrap up the ThunderCore recap, the team at ThunderCore would like to thank every one of our users! Here’s to more opportunities, more Thunder Academy, more partnerships, and most importantly, more of you guys!
