Developer Spotlight Introduction
ThunderCore’s Developer Spotlight is a program that highlights developers and projects building on the ThunderCore blockchain. It aims to recognize and showcase the innovative work being done on the ThunderCore network and to encourage further development and adoption of the platform.
Through the Developer Spotlight, ThunderCore features developers and projects that are using the platform to build decentralized applications (DApps), smart contracts, and other blockchain-based solutions. The program provides a platform for developers to share their experiences, insights, and challenges, and to showcase their work to a wider audience.
The Developer Spotlight also includes a series of interviews, articles, and other content that explores the latest developments and trends in blockchain technology, with a focus on the ThunderCore ecosystem. It is a valuable resource for anyone interested in learning more about ThunderCore and the projects being built on its platform.

Interview
- Can you tell us a bit about your background and how you got into developing on the ThunderCore ecosystem?
We are from Nigeria, In Nigeria we tend to appreciate initiatives that fosters growth and development hence as a web3 team we adopted ThunderCore as our center of development in the web3 space. Personally, I have been an active user of ThunderCore, for years before I ventured into full-time web3 development. I have always had a great experience exploring ThunderCore. Over the years I have seen a lot of captivating and mind-blowing positive changes on ThunderCore, especially the upgrade of ThunderCore hub to TT Wallet and all the new innovations that came with it. The continued effort of ThunderCore Dev to scale the Blockchain to be the number one contender in the web3 space constantly motivates us to build on the Blockchain.
- What was your motivation behind creating Carrot in a box, and how did the idea come about?
Carrot In A Box was inspired by the game played on the British TV game show, 8 out of 10 Cats. https://youtu.be/pB7T_J5K7_4
We found the game interesting and decided to implement it on a Blockchain. And we’ve always looked out to building a Dapp different from those already listed on TT Wallet. TT Wallet has lots of amazing dapps already, so we decided to create something a bit different from others.
- Why did you choose to build your game on ThunderCore?
ThunderCore has a web3 developer-friendly environment and a growing community, plus it’s EVM compatible and has high speed in transaction confirmation and also a low transaction fee which makes it stand out amongst other Blockchains, all these and more are reasons we prioritize ThunderCore.
- What do you consider to be the major challenges when developing on ThunderCore blockchain?
At the early stage of development, we had a bit of a challenge finding our way around the Blockchain, but then we found the developer’s guide and ThunderCore documentation plus contact with ThunderCore Dev which really helped overcome these challenges. ThunderCore docs and Developers are always available to help solve impending challenges.
Lately, We have only had the challenge of low user adoption of our Dapp, but we also believe that high user adoption of our Dapp and others is not solely the responsibility of ThunderCore Dev, But a collective effort by every developer, current user, and ThunderCore Dev. Together ThunderCore can be scaled to its full potential.
- What are the key features of Chat Thunder Games that sets it apart from other GameFi in the market?
Chat Thunder games focuses on bringing users together, otherwise know as PvP game. We tend to foster user interaction for instance in Carrot In A Box where a user can create a game and communicate an idea to the other player, it can be played and used as a competition/challenge amongst close friends due to the availability of the GAME ID that can be shared. Many other Blockchain games depend on the random number generator for it’s outcome.
- It seems that you are developing another game called “TT Shooter.” Could you provide a brief introduction to this game?
TT Shooter is going to be a game where the highest scoring users get to share a prize pool, it will be based on the amount of kills they make in the game. It might include a single-player mode (global) or multiple-player mode (where a certain number of players create room and compete against each). We still need to make final conclusions on how the overall structure of the game would be, but it’s sure going to work out smoothly.
- Will there be any tokens that we can expect from your team?
Currently, we have no intentions of creating a new token except it has utility and is required and essential to run our Dapps plus we should have enough resources to create the initial liquidity.
