Please provide a brief introduction of Cryptopia?

Desertopia2 is a simulation idle game. The objective is to raise various creatures on an island plate, feed them to collect resources, and gradually expand your island to make it more abundant. You need to log in regularly to cultivate plants and animals, and collect different resources to expand your island and hatch more animals.                               

Can you tell us a bit about your background and how you got into developing on the ThunderCore ecosystem?

We are a game studio that specializes in creating games that depict contemporary popular culture and social issues. Our focus is on exploring various possibilities in game mechanics, gameplay, and themes, with the goal of eliciting resonance and emotional connections to life experiences through gaming.

ThunderCore offers various resources and documentation to support developers, including software development kits (SDKs), libraries, and developer tools. These resources can help us build, test, and deploy smart contracts and Apps on the ThunderCore blockchain. Additionally, ThunderCore has its own developer community and forums where we can interact with other developers, ask questions, and share knowledge.

What was your motivation behind creating Cryptopia, and how did the idea come about?

We found the GameFi market is full of ​​rough and no gaming experience style games, based on our successful experience of Desertopia 1, which  is a simulation mobile game, and we got a million players in the game. We input lots of effort to design and develop the ecosystem and gameplay, and hope everyone will enjoy it!

Why did you choose to build Cryptopia on ThunderCore?

Developing on the ThunderCore ecosystem provides an opportunity to explore the potential of blockchain technology in the gaming industry and tap into a community of developers and enthusiasts interested in decentralised applications and Gamefi experiences.

What advantages does the integration of blockchain technology bring to Cryptopia and what kind of experiences do players have as a result?

The integration of blockchain technology brings several advantages to Cryptopia and enhances the experiences of players in several ways:

Ownership and Authenticity of In-Game Assets: Blockchain enables true ownership of in-game assets by utilising non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Players have full control and ownership over their digital assets, allowing them to buy, sell, and trade them securely on blockchain-based marketplaces.

Play-to-Earn Opportunities: Cryptopia can implement play-to-earn mechanisms using blockchain. Players can earn cryptocurrency or valuable in-game assets by participating in the game, achieving specific goals, or contributing to the game’s ecosystem. This introduces a new dimension to gaming, where players can earn real-world value from their in-game efforts.

What are the key features of Cryptopia that sets it apart from other GameFi in the market?

We believe that Desertopia2 has unique gameplay that combines island building and animal farming elements. Additionally, we will continue to provide new game content and features, such as new animal parts and island blocks, to provide new challenges for players to collect.

Furthermore, we will continue to interact with the community, listen to their suggestions and feedback, and update and improve the game based on their needs and opinions.

As a developer, what advice would you give to aspiring game developers who are interested in entering the blockchain gaming space? What are some important considerations they should keep in mind to deploy on ThunderCore?

If you’re an aspiring game developer interested in entering the blockchain gaming space and deploying on ThunderCore, here are some important considerations and advice:

Understand blockchain fundamentals: Gain a solid understanding of blockchain technology, including concepts like decentralised ledger, smart contracts, and non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Learn about the benefits and challenges of integrating blockchain into gaming.

Research ThunderCore: ThunderCore is a blockchain platform designed for scalability and high throughput. Familiarise yourself with ThunderCore’s features, documentation, and developer resources. Understand how it differs from other blockchain platforms and how it can benefit your game.Certainly, ThunderCore’s partners are very professional and attentive, and you can obtain answers to any questions from them.

Iterate and improve: As with any development project, be prepared to iterate and continuously improve your game based on user feedback and market dynamics. Keep an eye on emerging trends and technologies in the blockchain gaming space and adapt your game accordingly.

What can users do with the $DTT token? Are there any unique features or benefits associated with holding the token?

Players could use DTT to deposit in our game to purchase items/ animals to enhance amber production performance.  Players can use amber purchase items in game and withdraw DTT tokens. Players can gain “Amber” in-game to exchange for DTT tokens.

If players deposit DTT tokens or acquire NFT in gameplay will have a higher ratio to produce “Amber” and will unlock more animal mechanisms to have fun with our multiple game development.
